Multi services integration

ESG6000 series edge service gateway innovatively realizes deep integration in diversified services. ESG6000 combines network gateway, wireless access controller, management operation and maintenance platform, which streamlining the variety of network devices and greatly reduces investment. ESG6000 series support unified management of wireless, wired and network security, support both wired and wireless user access authentication, access control, traffic management. It unifies web management interface as well as supports intelligent operation and maintenance of the whole enterprise network, greatly reduces the network construction, operation, and maintenance management cost for the enterprise.

High availability and resiliency

For always‑on connectivity, the ESG6000 series edge service gateway supports 1+1 redundancy, supporting hitless failover that’s critical for uninterrupted business continuity.

Service provider level user access control and management

User role-based access control is a major feature of ESG6000 series edge service gateway. Access Profile provides a configuration template that can save preset configurations (a collection of a series of configurations). Users can configure various content for Access Profile according to different application scenarios, such as CAR (Committed Access Rate) policy and QoS (Quality of Service) policy, etc. Before users access the network, they need to perform identity authentication first. During the authentication process, ESG6000 will distribute the Access Profile to the device, and the device will immediately enable the specific contents configured in the Access Profile. When user accesses the network through authentication, the device will restrict the user's access behavior through these specific contents. When a user goes offline, the system will automatically disable the configuration items under the Access Profile, thus cancelling the restriction of the Access Profile on the user.
